Provenance:
TD, Karas, Khamiesberge, NC, RSA. Seed sown Nov 30 2020. Genus is somewhat questionable. Plant tuberous, reddish leaves with white bumps. Leaves barely sheathing, not heterophyllous. Flowers with very short pedicel. Mature fruits easily detach and roll away, which would be unique for a Cheiridopsis. Habitat is relatively moist, rocky, high altitude locations, on granitic gneiss.
