J. Matrai (Dryopteris #5), Latisberg Hill, Vienna, Austria. 400 m ASL. Beech forest, Flysch Zone, on sandstone, limestone and clay. Plants sparse in shade, with Fagus sylvatica, Fraxinus excelsior, Acer pseudoplatinus (seedlings only), Rubus idaeus, Sambucus niger. Spore field collected July 6, 2019, sown Aug 1, 2019
