Provenance:

Nel sub SUG 9330, Kuboos, Richtersveld, NC, RSA. Plants from Steven Hammer, Sept. 26, 2020. This population is Conophytum orbicum, sometimes considered a synonym of C. jucundum, but based on epidermal structure (superficial stomata), more closely related to C. fraternum. Actual collection locality is likely not the modern town Kuboes, but probably Kabies near Skimmelberg in the southern Richtersveld.
