Univ. California UC 51/1303, pre-WWII material from "a German botanical garden" probably ex Herre. Considered by Steven Hammer to likely represent C. lithopsoides ssp. boreale, a lost taxon which was recorded from near the northeastern limits of the range of the genus Conophytum, between Kakamas and Augrabies Falls, NC, RSA. Aside from the single clone UC 51/1303, this taxon is unknown either in cultivation or from modern field observations. Cutting from Steven Hammer Oct. 21, 2019.
