"The (parent) plant was said to have been from the Malaysian State of Sarawak on the Island of Borneo.
Given an origin in Sarawak these plants will probably be either Myrmecodia tuberosa ‘bracteata’ or Myrmecodia tuberosa ‘apoensis’."1
