Description: Philodendron patriciae is an appressed-climbing epiphyte and is endemic to Colombia known at present only in Choco Department in the area of Tutunendo and in the type locality near the Rio Atrato on the road to Lloro from 150-400m.1
The species is characterised by its short stems and pendent narrow blades, which are matte and become undulated in age. As an adult plant the species is one of the most attractive species in the genus.1
