Clusia hammeliana
Costa Rica: Le Selva Biological Station, on the first loop in the highly disturbed arboretum area. 
Epiphytically, in a shady location, but near a clearing. It was 8 to 10' above ground. 
35 m. 10°25'48"N, 84°00'55"W. 
The trunk was 1.5" in diameter with 5' branches extending out parallel to the ground. This epiphytic shrub had app. 30 fruits. The terminal ends of these branches drooped under the weight of up to 3 fruit per branch tip. The fruit was 1.5" long, maroon, rubbery, and bell-shaped. Only one plant observed. Fruit was collected, but no flowers were seen.
