Description: Brachychiton rupestris grows as a succulent tree reaching 10–20 metres though plants in cultivation are usually shorter.²

Brachychiton rupestris has been recorded as a host plant for the mistletoe species Dendrophthoe glabrescens.²

Provenance:

Originally acquired as 'unidentified caudiciform'.  
Was initially thought to be B. cf. discolor, but now appears more likely to be B. cf. rupestris, though this is also merely a cursory identification.
