Description: Dwarf plant with a long caudex. Branches rigid, ascending, branchlets yellowish‑green, c. 1 mm broad, striate, sometimes ± curved. Male cones 2, obovoid, c. 4.5 mm long. Female cones on short recurved stalks. Tubillus contorted, c. 1.5 mm long. Berry globose, red. Seed (‑s) ovoid, brown, c. 4‑5 mm long.
