Plants tufted, roots stout, cordlike, not tuberous; leaves linear, to 2 feet long or more, about 1/2 inch wide; flowers white, 1/2 inch long or more, in axillary fascicles in short racemes; fruit oblong, violet-blue.

An easy ground cover or potted plant for mild climates.

Often confused with Liriope Muscari
